Quidditch Through The Ages

I bought the collection of books for comic relief that were in the Harry Potter series. The first one i read was Quidditch Through The Ages. This book tells you all about how quiddich ( A wizarding broom sport) has deveolped through the years and what it is today, the positions and the balls used.

I thought the book was really interesting, written as though it had come straight out the wizarding world for use of muggles. I really enjoyed the foreword by Albus Dumbledore about how Madam Pomfrey was distraught when she heard this book was for use of muggles and how dumbledore felt about it, and also about comic reflief.  My favourite line was in the foreword where dumbledore says "widespread amusement is converted into large quantities of money (800 million pounds since they started- 158 million 1035 galleons, 8 sickles and 2 knuts)". My favourite chapter is the arrival of the golden snitch because it is quite interesting that it originated from the bird, the sniget.

I would rate this book 5 stars  because i thought it was very clever how J.k.Rowling was able to create this book straight out of the Harry Potter series. I would highly recommend this book and hope you enjoy it as much as i have.
