The Perks Of Being A Wallflower By Stephen Chbosky

This book is about a boy named Charlie who sends letters about his life to someone who doesn't really know him, keeping his identity secret, about his life. It's about how he starts high school and makes new friends like Sam and Patrick and what happens in his life that year of school.

I really loved this book and thought it was really well written and would recommend it to anyone over 12 who enjoys a fictional book from the real world. My favourite character is probably Charlie because he is a big reader like I am, also he is really sweet and puts other peoples feeling before his. My favourite part is definitely when Charlie, Sam and Patrick are in the pickup truck with Patrick driving and this great song comes on so they turn is up as they are going through a tunnel and Sam goes on the back of the truck and stands up against the wind, all listening to this great song. My favourite line comes in that part when the songs over and Charlie says "I feel infinite" and Sam and Patrick look at him like he just said the greatest thing ever.

I would absolutely give this book 5 stars and highly recommend it and the movie when you have finished the book. It is a great book and an emotional roller coaster.

Looking For Alaska By John Green

I found that this book was written by the same author as the fault in ours stars and thought it looked good so I decided to read it. It is about a boy named Miles Halter, but his friend call him pudge (irony because he is skinny). Miles goes to a new school, a boarding school where is father and that side of the family went to, called Culver Creek. Here he becomes best friends with his room mate Chip Martin, aka the colonel. The colonel introduces. Miles to his friends, first if all Alaska Young, who miles think is the most beautiful girl in the world. He also becomes friends with Takumi and Lara. It is generally about the times he has spent at culver creek, good and bad. The book is split up into a Before and After.

I really loved this book and would highly recommend it to anyone over 12 and especially any fan of John Green. My favourite character is Takumi because he is really  fun and funny and a great to Miles and the colonel and Alaska. My favourite parts are when they all do a great prank together and Takumi wears a fox mask. My other part is when they do another great prank but if I say anymore it would spoil a lot so all I'll say is that it is in the after half of the book. My favourite quote is either "I love her present tense" said by Miles or "the fox cannot summit strawberry hill" said by Takumi.

I would give this book 5 stars because it was really good and I loved reading it and would read it over and over.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

My friend reccomended this book to me so I decided to read it.  It is about two sisters- Cather ( she prefers Cath) and Wren. Wren likes to party and meet new people, but Cath would rather stay at home writing her Carry On, Simon fanfiction. They've been together all their lives, but everything changes when they go to university and have different dorms. Cath has to decide if she's ready to open up and meet new people and have new experiences,  and learn more about love then whats in her fanfiction.

I really loved reading this book and would highly recommend it to anyone, especially Fangirls. My favourite character is Levi because he always smiles and works at Starbucks. My favourite part is when Cath has an emergency dance party and Levi comes to her dorm and joins in. My favourite line is "I'm rooting for you" which is said by two people but I won't say who because it spoils a lot.

I would give this book 5 Stars because it was an amazing book that I really loved. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves books as much as I do (if that's possible).

The mortal instruments: city of bones by Cassandra Clare

I was reccomended to read the mortal instruments series by my friends so i bought the collection. There are 5 books in total so far and the first is city of bones. It about a world with shadowhunters and downworlders- warlocks, vampire, faeries and wereolves. The main character Clary finds out what and who she really is and goes on a quest with her best friend simon and some new people she meets.

I really enjoyed reading this book, it was really interesting and i literally could not put it down! My favourite character is definitely Simon because he is really nice and caring towards Clary not wanting her hurt and is a really good beat friend towards her. My favourite part is when they meet Magnus because he is really funny and wants to help. My favourite lines are when Magnus said " only because of the cute one" then Jace says "thank you" and then Magnus says "i meant him, with the blue eyes". My favourite chapter was the last chapter because of the big unexpected plot twist but that is all i will say!

I would give this book 5 Stars because it was brilliant and Cassandra Clare had made a whole world of their own. I would highly recommend this book because it was a great read that i finished in a matter of days.

Quidditch Through The Ages

I bought the collection of books for comic relief that were in the Harry Potter series. The first one i read was Quidditch Through The Ages. This book tells you all about how quiddich ( A wizarding broom sport) has deveolped through the years and what it is today, the positions and the balls used.

I thought the book was really interesting, written as though it had come straight out the wizarding world for use of muggles. I really enjoyed the foreword by Albus Dumbledore about how Madam Pomfrey was distraught when she heard this book was for use of muggles and how dumbledore felt about it, and also about comic reflief.  My favourite line was in the foreword where dumbledore says "widespread amusement is converted into large quantities of money (800 million pounds since they started- 158 million 1035 galleons, 8 sickles and 2 knuts)". My favourite chapter is the arrival of the golden snitch because it is quite interesting that it originated from the bird, the sniget.

I would rate this book 5 stars  because i thought it was very clever how J.k.Rowling was able to create this book straight out of the Harry Potter series. I would highly recommend this book and hope you enjoy it as much as i have.

Harry Potter and the philosophers stone

I decided to read the collection of harry potter books again because I liked them so much so I have already finished Harry Potter and the philosophers stone. In this book Harry first finds out that he's a wizard after all his time with the Dursley's and thinking his parents died in a car crash. He goes to Hogwarts new to everything in the wizarding world and becomes best friends with Ron and Hermione. He meets Voldemort, who is hunting for immortality, for the first time. Knowing all his wizarding history of how he became so famous and ready to defeat bad with good.

I thought this book was really good and an amazing start to all harry potter books. I really enjoyed the part  when Harry, Ron and Hermione first become friends because of the heroic thing that Ron and Harry did for Hermione. I thought the line they all say when they meet after this is very sweet because they say it all together and instantly become friends. The line is " Thanks" which is simple but nice. My favourite character is Hagrid because he is really nice towards Harry especially since he is new to the wizarding world.

I would rate this book 5 stars  because it was a brilliant start to the harry potter collection that are so imaginative and adventurous. I hope you read this book and enjoy is as much as I do!

Harry Potter and the deathly hallows

I read the last book in the harry potter series, harry potter and the deathly hallows. In this book Harry, Ron and Hermione are forced into hiding when Voldemort is trying to take over the ministry in order to take over the wizarding world. Whilst in hiding the 3 friends hunt down horcruxes to weaken Voldemort before the epic battle between good and bad.

I thought this book was a brilliant end to the world famous harry potter books. I especially enjoyed the end because it had a really interesting finish of the battle between good and bad but also a bit extra! my favourite part is when Harry, Ron and Hermione go into hiding because they have great fun together. My favourite character is Hermione because she is prepared for anything that happens to them and plans all they need to do.

I would rate this book 5 stars because its a brilliant finale to the harry potter book that people know so well. I hope you read this book and enjoy it as much as I have!
